2025 Wrapped: Nearly 4,000 kg of Used Vapes Collected for Recycling

Now - a different type of 2025 wrapped. ♻️ Nearly 4,000 kg of used vapes ended up in a recycling stream this year – not in landfills or nature – and that’s a collective win.

Together with our partner stores and their customers, we collected significant amount of used e-cigarettes in 2025 through the Salt Recycle Box network. Shops gathered the used vapes, sent them to us, we packed them up in good old sugar sacks, and shipped them off for proper recycling.

Why do we care so much? Because every e-cigarette contains lithium batteries and valuable materials that should be recovered, not left to leak into soil, water or general waste.
